The greeies say that spotted owls ONLY nest in old growth trees. I was in Oregon 20 years ago and saw one nesting in a McDonald's sign. Maybe we should be putting up more signs for them to nest in. I say... if they can't adapt... let them die out. The barred owl is doing just fine in populated areas. I have one living in my yard in Florida.
