It "would be risky". Like DUH.!! Would YOU rather sit around, with incoming rockets coming at you, or prepare to do something about it? It isn't like this hasn't been happening (to a lesser extent) all along, so what is the message the "Palastinians" are trying to make by upping the ante? Most likely the one that they have been saying loud and clear all along -- we are going to wipe your country off the face of the map. Perhaps some tit for tat would make them change their minds. Unfortunately, I think the "risk" that our fearless leader is talking about is that the rest of the world will again blame the Israelis for being so mean to their neighbors.

Curiously, Israel gets the rap for having to fight men who dress like all other civilians and hide out in the civilian population. Few ever seem to mention that the hundreds of missiles going into Israel are not targeting military bases. So many rockets/missiles are being fired into Israel that its 'shield' cannot stop them all.

Over the weekend, more than 400 Hamas rockets came flying into Israel. The Iron Dome, Israel's missile defense system, shot down the majority of them but not all, leaving nearly a dozen Israelis injured. Diplomatic talks have been underway for days but nothing seems to be happening. Egypt has taken the side of Hamas and the rocket attacks aren't stopping. This has prompted Israel to prepared ground troops for a potential invasion of Gaza.
