Thank you John for a very enlightening article with references. We knew Ron Paul was loony but to have all this information in one place helped. I don't care about unelectable, care about how off the wall this guy is. I used to say he is just plain too old, now have a better understanding of why he has never impressed us as Presidential.

May I add my two cents...poor people probably do not eat at McDonald's. We have to shop at Aldi's, Dollar Stores, etc. We cannot afford to do anything but eat at home. The crux of the problem is that Americans have become too lazy to do their own cooking. It is too easy to drop the bucks at a fast food joint, or a nearby diner now. McDonalds is thriving because the ones that used to eat at restaurants can't spend that kind of money, so it's off to Mickey Ds.. Got it!!! The economy is bad but McDonald's is thriving because a mass group of people can't do the pricey restaurant thing now. Their "sacrifice" is to eat fast food. Got no problem with that, it's none of my business where you eat.

Big deal, 2 hours earlier. He shouldn't have gone on vacation to begin with. Most of his "plans" regarding government business didn't happen. We didn't expect him to accomplish anything and he didn't. The big O as in -0- ZERO

Do a little more reading and you'll discover she was just another person playing the system which is exactly what Ian meant. Clear your mind, do some thinking.

Hey babe, you don't go to jail for not paying your school and property taxes. You lose your home. She was not even paying taxes living in subsidized housing which is why it was so easy for her to pull this off.
