May I copy your post and send it to my US Representative? Everyone should do the same with your permission. I would also add sunset mechanisms for legislation so laws will be reviewd for renewal or retiring.

The Republicans did not have the same majority numbers that the Democrats have now. Harry Reid claiming the Republicans are "blocking the legislation tht will extend the tax custs to the middle class" is pandering. His party has shown that by passing ObamaCare and Fin Reg with not one Republican vote!

Folks - please study our past as a country. Burton Folsom's "New Deal, Raw Deal" and Larry Schweikart's "American Patriot's History of United States" give good analysis of what happened to our young republic. Our current adminstration is following FDR almost to the letter. There's a reason why the 20th Amendment was dded to the Constitution!
