Rich libs aren't paying their "fair" share. What is fair? The top 1% of earners pay half of all income taxes collected. The top 5% pay 90%. You deadbeats who whine the loudest pay nothing at all. Here's a fact for you dummies. The rich don't have enough total wealth, much less income, to pay for our, out of control, gov't. spending. What we need is for you leaches to learn some self reliance and personal responsibility. Then we could balance the federal budget overnight as well as regain the republic our founders envisioned.

Highly sensible comment, but as long as people like BO are at the helm, the government will continue printing monopoly money and keep spending that monopoly money. The dollar keeps losing it's value so that when people like you and I spend $100.00, that product is only worth about $80.00 or maybe only $75.00. That's about a 20% - 25% tax increase that everybody pays.

Who exactly were the rich who, as the president said, were not "paying their fair share"? The rapper Jay-Z (net worth: nearly $500 million)? The actor Johnny Depp (2011 income: $50 million)? Neither seems to have heard the president's earlier warning that, "at a certain point you've made enough money."

Could both zillionaires simply have quit making money at $10 million -- and thereby given their poorer audiences a break on ticket prices?

With all the talk of raising taxes on the supposedly conservative wannabes who make $250,000 per year, why not additionally levy a $3 surcharge on discretionary tickets for...
