Forgetting the Meaning of Freedom

We're not fighting to eliminate God from society. For starters, you can't eliminate an entity that, to you, never existed. What we're fighting against is an obvious push by Christians to declare that "We're special, and everyone should do things our way, because our God is a good god!" Let's take that argument apart piece by piece, shall we? First of all, Christians, no matter what the bible or your pastor tells you, are not special. Not in any way, shape or form. Might does not necessarily make right, you know. Just because you have a majority doesn't mean you can in turn force other minorities to subscribe to your ideology. You're human beings who happen to be Christian, nothing more. Special doesn't apply. No, everyone should NOT do things your way. Remember the Taliban? THEY ran things according to a strict religious ethos, and look where they ended up. Christians doing the same thing would simply have the same result: Abuses of power, oppression of minorities, misogyny, "righteous" crusades that result in the deaths of millions, the list goes on. And history has proven, time and again, that no matter which religion is in charge, it's doomed to corruption and ultimately failure. Your God - assuming it exists for the purpose of this argument - is by no means a "good" one. Not by a long shot. Your God, as referenced in your precious bible, is the following: Selfish, jealous, violent, prone to mistakes (Great Flood, anyone?), lazy, genocidal and generally malicious. Seriously: Who follows any person - human or otherwise - who says "Hey, go kill your kid to prove your loyalty to me?" No sane person on this planet would ever go along with that! It's ridiculous. So no, Christians are not "special," do not deserve special treatment, and by no means are to be given ANY political power. Your good intentions would quickly deteriorate into debauchery. History - like science - doesn't lie. Countless figures from countless religions have risen, gone mad with power, and fallen. The idea of America being a "Christian Nation" is also BS. Again: Just because you're in a majority doesn't mean you get to call the shots. We are a nation of many faiths, or lack thereof, and that's just the way it is. You can't choose our identities based on YOUR beliefs. It simply doesn't work that way.
Yes, I have, the entire way through, several times. I didn't stop at the first half of the Second Amendment like the rest of you did.
I assume you're of the mindset that anyone who disagrees with you is a troll, has a mental illness, and can't possibly be a "Real 'Murican" like yourself?
You people are aware that Saint Reagan compromised for the good of the country, not just his voting base, right? Get over yourselves. President Obama is not the problem. The problem is a do-nothing Republican Party hellbent on denying him any policy success (you know, like the Affordable Care Act) they can, simply because they're not getting their way on anything. ProTip: When you lose, you don't get your way.
What's being prohibited is the Catholic faith imposing its beliefs on everyone else. Other than that, this is yet another bit of trumped-up "reporting" designed to make you panic. Carry on, nothing to see here.

So, where's the Birther crowd denouncing Cruz as a pretender? Just curious is all. Are the Birthers selective in who they denounce? Is it based purely on ideology?

See: PATRIOT Act.
You are aware that the Africa trip is an official state visit to three nations, right? But I'm sure it was all good when President Bush spent more time away from the White House than any other President in history, chilling out at his ranch in Crawford TX for 1000+ days...

Take off the tri-corner hat and quit pretending you're some sort of revolutionary. It's silly.
