I don't care what comedians and lefties think of us. I know exactly how they think because I was one of them, when I was young, dumb, and brainwashed. What matters is today's election, not yesterday's tantrum. If they think it's humor when they put Hitler mustaches on photos of political enemies, but threatening and hurtful when we do it, it lets you know the level of intelligence you're dealing with: beneath you.

One of the biggest perception problems in America is that liberals often don't know they are liberal. They think they are centrist, enlightened, merely "reasonable." To them, a hardcore leftie is a gay Che breaking windows at a G8 summit. Anything less extreme than that is merely a normal, well-educated human outlook. Conservatives, by contrast, KNOW they are conservative. Partly because we understand the continuum and are politically aware. I really do believe we have better powers of reason. I have met many liberals who similarly think NPR is "objective" because they'll often host a few token conservatives on a forum. They don't think FOX is objective for hosting token liberals, however. But they can't apply the criterion with any...

And what's their excuse for attacking in China? Attempting bombings in France and Belgium? The recent attack on a UN compound in Kabul? They always have an excuse, just like a wife-beater has his reasons (dinner not ready on time, etc). But the fact is, I've heard muslims say they hate the US because we support Israel, and others say no, they hate Israel because of its affiliation with the US. When even THEY don't know, here's a clue: it's an excuse.
