I'm not going to see any films by Singer. I don't need entertainment that badly. I hope there are repercussions---REAL repercussions and some legal protections against these sick, twisted predators.
Inclusion means everyone who agrees with you. It's a totally new definition, complex and nuanced.

Ugh. Did you even see the movie?? No. We should not be cheering and buying tickets to have the Bible perverted to suit an overtly political message about cutting down trees and using natural resources. Yeesh. A better review of the movie is here: http://themattwalshblog.com/2014/03/29/im-a-christian-and-i-think-noah-deserves-a-four-star-review/
What part of "abortion is killing a baby" doesn't the left understand? It's not about birth control. By all means--prevent a baby. But don't kill one. It's so SIM-ple!

Porn's Part in Sex Trafficking (Part 3)

I'm not sure you read the article. There is a DIRECT relationship between porn and sexual violence. Every victim of a sexual crime is also a victim of the industry that made the attacker - the porn industry. You can distance yourself and float around on your objective iceberg but if you don't see the link between porn and victims you are simply refusing to do so. If porn keeled over tomorrow the bell of liberty would not cease to ring--in fact, it might be a little louder.
well, they're truckers. If you're complaining that truckers lack the ability to organize mass events then it's like observing that toasters fail to properly edit newspapers. Truckers don't organize mass events. They transport goods. And they do it very well, I might add. Mass organizing just isn't something they do on a daily basis. Heck, very few of us do that. Props to truckers for making a stand!! I'm psyched about it and I stand with them.
well, at least we have that going for us.

This is a very difficult proposition. It isn't just investing in entertainment, it's having enough experienced, talented, like-minded people to do it. It isn't easy to get experience in this industry. There is a lot of talent out there and some brilliant, creative minds, but getting all the pieces to fall into place is hard. Having whined about the difficulty, I will say he is right and we need to start somewhere.
Most people don't want to pay for a product that doesn't work. When are we going to have a conversation about that?
I feel sorry for the students who had to take this class -- this lawsuit is absolutely necessary. If you've forgotten the kind of pressure and intimidation a teacher can wield over her students--it is pretty intense. You literally have to do what a teacher says. You feel like your whole future depends on it. This is really unfair.
