Steely Dan had it right ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj5Yoke-mZc&feature=player_embedded
Anne Coulter had it right a few years ago ... "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
Maria Barf, err ... I mean Harf, wouldn't know strategy over Stratego until someone sank her battleship. She IS the caricature of a bubble-headed bleach-blond. And t think that someday she might actually become an ambassador. Gawd help us !!
Obama submitted to Islam LONG BEFORE becoming POTUS, IL Senator, or coming to America. http://humanevents.com/2010/08/19/obama-muslim-call-to-prayer-one-of-the-prettiest-sounds-on-earth/ There is a reason that his long form birth certificate hasn't been produced. It lists the religion of his father, the religion he was brought up in, and the religion he kowtows to now. For it to have been known, he would have never been elected, and the nations of Islam would have branded him an apostate. WAKE UP AMERICA !!!

A Problem Bigger than Ferguson

Could the answer be more in the sub-text of what Carson wrote here ... Quote: Could it be that we are erroneously being manipulated into making this incident a racial issue, when, in fact, it is a component of a much larger social issue? Why are there so many young black men in the streets of America with defiant attitudes that frequently lead to incarceration or death? " Obama, Holder, Jackson, Sharpton, and their race-baiting sycophants HAVE MADE IT a racial issue long before Ferguson. Obama's and Holder's DEFIANT attitudes regarding the rule of law and 'going it alone' has only amplified "the increasing frustrations that underscore potentially explosive, tinderbox situations, as we have seen in Ferguson." Is it any wonder that a "6-foot-4 and 290 pounds young black man who was involved in a strong-arm robbery prior to the shooting, proceeded to walk in the middle of the street, obstructing traffic" ? One needs only to look to the POTUS and his hand-picked lieutenants to see the role-modeled attitude being broadcast to 'his people', except it causes those on the lowest strata to take out their frustrations with firearms, firebombs, and fists instead of The One's posturing, pontifications and pussified foreign policy. Like Obama promised by cleverly disguising his real motives with soaring rhetoric and glittering platitudes ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=SgMcht-EW6I When division and divisiveness are used in the pursuit of power, you can ultimately expect that division and divisiveness will be the final result. The election of '1st Black President' was a watershed in American history. Unfortunately it's about to turn into a tsunami because we elected the WRONG '1st Black President' for all the WRONG reasons. Before it's too late, it's time to change history's future ... WAKE UP AMERICA !!!
It's ironic that you said "If there is no law, there is no moral reason not to pick up a rifle and take what you want.", and conclude with "The sooner we stomp it out and return to the rule of law, the better." Is that NOT the premise of the 2nd amendment ? But. when the lawlessness of the government leads to tyranny, DEFENDING what is rightfully yours, including your life and the lives of the ones you love isn't the "Rule of Guns", it's the "Rule of Law"; an 'inalienable right' that is guaranteed by The Constitution, the ultimate Rule of Law. Protect it now America, or suffer the fate of Rome.
Fanning the flames of hatred, Holder makes blue the new white ... Holder says he understands mistrust of police as Ferguson protests dwindle Quote: "I understand that mistrust," Holder said. "I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man." The attorney general then described how he was stopped twice on the New Jersey Turnpike and accused of speeding. Police searched his car, going through the trunk and looking under the seats. "I remember how humiliating that was and how angry I was and the impact it had on me," Holder said. His empathy is not only misplaced, but is opportunistic and disingenuous at the very least. I really believe that his comments were meant as a gambit to the coming indictment on Fast & Furious. Nothing like appealing to 'his people' to garner outrage once he and Obama get thrown behind bars. In Operation Fast and Furious, judge orders gov't to turn over list of contested documents Coinky Dink ... I don't think so.
If Crispy Christie doesn't step in and correct this travesty, 2A voters across the country should IGNORE his name on any national ballot.
No, Obama's (and MOST RINOs) answer is AMNESTY. Get the illegals paying into SSI and kick the can down the road. Well, that and getting us seniors on ObamaCare where the death panels can do their job. If the gov'mnt would stop raiding, err ... borrowing from it to pay for other stuff, we wouldn't be in this position. So much for Al Gore's 'lock box'.

Jesus, Today's Church, and "Inequality"

Edward587 Wrote: Jul 30, 2014 8:23 AM
So, are the welfare queens who relish their status and demand even more ‘poor’ ? And if so, are those who rise out of crushing poverty because of faith in their own salvation now ‘rich’. In KJV Matthew 5:3, Jesus blessed the poor ‘in spirit’, not the poor ‘in general’. Even in today’s modern translations, He blessed those who recognized they are spiritually helpless, so that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them, and that God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. The message was to those in spiritual poverty, and our commandment was to help them out of that, not perpetuate their poverty by throwing money at them while hoping they’ll go away. It’s the difference between giving a buck to a beggar on the street corner and stuffing a five spot into the bucket of a Salvation Army bell-ringer, who weeks before was probably that same street beggar. And yet the progressive arm of Christian faith continued to push the definition of ‘poor’ to mean lack of wealth to the point that now, they extend it even further to wealth inequality. How incredulous and how un-Christian …
