If a business offers a lunchroom or cafeteria for its employees that simple fact does NOT require them to provide surf and turf or ethnic entrees just because some employees want them. If the business provides a company car for an employee it doesn't have to allow the employee to use it as a gypsie cab after his shift ends. If an employee wants something from an employer that the employer doesn't want to provide the employee has the option to purchase on their own or look for employment elsewhere.
Don't feel lonesome, neither does he.

Not of the top of my head. picked it up in a briefing a while back and gathered that that was why one line of research was into timed throttling so it could be slowed just a bit short of impact where various conventional homing methods could come into play and in the higher tech but lower probability of success for a sonar probe forward of the cavitation area. Yes, "The US military should be used to defend the United States" and to do that it must be strong and well trained as well as well equipped. History has well demonstrated what happens when the people of the US allow the military to be downsized and the military budget to be spent on social engineering - after disbanding large portions of the forces after WW II we were very poorly equipped to deal with Korea and Korea still drags on. Downsized again after Korea we were short on men and materials when we needed them for Vietnam. After Vietnam the military was again downsized but not as drastically although the budget for training and equipment parts and POL were reduced to miserably inadequate levels. LEARN FROM HISTORY!
"I feel obliged to withhold my approval of the plan to indulge in benevolent and charitable sentiment through the appropriation of public funds. I find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution, and I do not believe that the power and the duty of the General Government ought to be extended to the relief of individual suffering which is in no manner properly related to the public service or benefit... The friendliness and charity of our countrymen can always be relied upon to relieve their fellow citizens in misfortune." -- Democrat President Grover Cleveland
Even Democrats knew it once - "I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has no power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it. We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we...have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as a charity." --Davy Crockett (D-TN) "I cannot find any authority in the Constitution for public charity. [To approve such spending] would be contrary to the letter and the spirit of the Constitution and subversive to the whole theory upon which the Union of these States is founded." -- Democrat President Franklin Pierce
Nope, that was a Democrat Congress that spent and spends like money grows on trees. Look who controlled Congress when the recession started and who took back the House just two years ago when the recovers finally started to slowly come around. Look when unemployment really started getting bad and you will discover that it happened under Obama and the Democrats, NOT under Bush and Republicans. Bush inherited the dot com bust that followed the dot com empty bubble under Clinton.
OK, lets look at the fact that Clinton had a REPUBLICAN MAJORITY in Congress that, while still overspending on welfare and social spending didn't go to the extremes that the Democrat Congress that loves to spend, did under the Bush second term in which the huge deficits began and which have only grown bigger under the Democrat Congress and Admin since this Obama who is not even a qualified for the office as he, having a Kenyan father is not a natural born citizen as the Constitution REQUIRES in Article II Section 1. "I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents...." --James Madison
RE: "I promise you, the President has a big stick." Joe Biden That is also so voyeuristic!
This to was to that was to Jack2894 - where he claimed "I have a lot more awareness of military reality than you do, that much is evident. "
