The Assault on Food

In the early 1900's this correlation was established: construction workers who sprayed asbestos onto buildings and also smoked two packs of cigarettes daily had an over 90% chance of getting lung cancer.

Well, the NBPz just might Tweet your family's name, address, phone #, and where you work if you step out of line. Google map in a few seconds tells hundreds of drive by thugs needing street cred where you live and pow, they off'd another "racist". That's the newest intimidation by social media. Bullying alone is just soooo effeminate by comparison. Just put out a "capture and bring to justice" on people that step out of line. THANK YOU SPIKE LEE YOU VINDICTIVE FOOL YOU.

Is the Window Closing on Israel

Well, Pat, if your prayers are answered the window will close on Israel. And won't we see your wisdom thru the years in cheerleading this destruction? You'll be on good ol' boy winking terms with radical Islam just in time to applaud the moderate Islamists who allow Christian dhimmitude instead of hacked off Christian heads, oh that's a nice historical accommodation don't you think? The remaining Jews will finally kiss the cross while bending a knee to your winking buddies at the same time, oh it's a grand performance for the history books Pat. Imagine!

Unfortunately you are absolutely right. The Republicans bore me. The US future has been sub-contracted to China and our most famous export is soldiers to every other country in the world. The bank is broken by design or by exuberant fools, every one of whom is absolutely educated in disparaging our once great nation.

You are so far under the radar you need a patent on what you're saying. Not one new idea from BHO, the man truly is devoid of non-resentment originality - but he has kudos from academia Leninists; as for the Marxist union enforcers, they go along to get along, putting bandages on their self-inflicted wounds. Buchanan is right. This is irreversible and meantime we're encouraged to "diversify" our economy. I think the French version of this involved selling donuts to those who are also selling donuts and to those that are eating donuts.

A Dangerous Appeasement: U.S. and China

Reminds me of a very politically uncorrect little book I read in grammar school, titled: The Chinaman who Swallowed the Sea. If memory serves correctly, a little Chinese boy drank a glass of water, then a barrel, then a lake, then an ocean. Of course it's racist and of course it's DNA compliant. These people are cruelly acquisitive and always have been. They have come to trade shows and elbowed promoters out of the way to photograph their innovations. "You knew I was a snake when you took me in" as Tom Jones used to sing...we are the world champion, the world-history champion in our own minds, we are the USA, known around the world as Planet Yokel.

Maybe it will be disguised as the world's largest Harbor Freight outlet. A sale trumps self-interest every time, so everyone wins. But the Chinese win long-term which is a concept the United States is clueless about; as long as we can glorify our military operations around the world who cares about who's minding the store? The US is over-educated in useless diplomas and the safety net of humble jobs isn't there to catch all these over-indebted unemployable citizens; the good jobs went to China, the lesser status jobs are held by illegals and immigrants. Nice job Mr. President (s).

To go Postal or not to go Postal

Despite its problems what's your alternative solution? I like the USPS. In fact, their business showed an increase of use by many businesses after the poorly conceived UPS strike some years ago. I love the postal service and continue to do business with them. If your gripe is with retirement, unions, fine. The majority of postal workers I've dealt with are courteous and caring people. Go demonize someone else.

Academic Rot

"You have no idea how much these friendly, smiling people despise your country. You people have no idea." You nailed it and this began over 50 years ago with little nuggets like George Washington made money on the capital construction, little snubs to cut great historical figures down to size. This is ghastly. Over 40 years ago I fled a Methodist college in great part due to what one of its leaders said in assembly one day. Decked out in his academic robe with all the splendor of his pompous authority, he proudly declared that "we" killed J.F.K. I forget the rest, but the self-flagellation continued. Recently I got in touch with some graduates of that same school out of a sense of nostalgia and there it was again, one smiling...
