a third, obama's relentless and misguided (repeatedly) attacks on pro-life demonstrators. a fourth, obama's decision to use the EPA to reduce america's economy to third world status, ostensibly because it would make life in america more "fair", whatever that word means to obama.

MacQ, annfan,'re all hoooked by the Repub talking point on 'abortion' and other social issues which is how the Repub party manipulates its base with this ongoing distraction. I'm a Progressive who would like to limit abortions to 22-24 weeks and after only if there is severe deformity or the mother's health...many of the Dems wouldn't like that but I have my own reasons. The EPA is actually a 'god-send' to some of the most destructive environmental behavior ever witnessed. Remember the likes of Love Canal back east is just a small if you don't know. Is there some over-reach? Yes, and is with all matters of business there needs to be a balance and politics every area of life.

Where your attention is being diverted from is the source of power which are the financial markets specifically Wall St, the insurance companies and 'big' oil. They run Congress which is all of the Repubs (I a couple in office over the years they'll tell you if you don't comply they'll ruin you, this happens to most of the Dems as well as they comply too) and most of the Dems. Simply put they control the purse strings and 'drive' the direction of legislation and the economy. The elimination of the Bank Act of 1933 (Glass-Steagall) in 1999, driven by these 'people' is what led to the recession and huge loss of jobs. Check out the film, 'Inside Job' and though it will feel more on the Dem side of things, ....

pay attention to those who have run companies or were senior execs on Wall St and they openly admit to their mistakes and greed, and you'll also notice their unwillingness to share other info....very telling story

Picking out the most disturbing moments of Barack Obama's presidency is kind of like trying to choose the wettest parts of the ocean. Other than his "Even a blind squirrel sometimes gets a nut" moment where he said "yes" when the SEALS asked if they were allowed to kill Osama Bin Laden, his entire presidency has been one long, slow motion bamboo shoot sliding under the country's fingernails. So, everyone reading will probably be able to think of a few national nightmares that aren't included.
