In response to:

The Role of 'Educators'

whenever i advocate that all elementary and secondary education be provided on-line, the most common objection i hear is that parents will not stand for it because they see brick and mortar schools as ideal daycare centers. if that is true of parents, it is equally true that these same parents care less about their children than their own childish, self-absorbed lives. and, if that is true, we know all we need to know about the decay and decline of america.

eddie-Now, this I CAN respond to--I'm virtually certain I'm considerably older than You, so I find it likely we can/DO have some differences of opinion in many areas; "the decay and decline of America" gives me pause in that. While this Country HAS picked up a few bad habits over the years (RAMPANT Political Correctness among the worst) I doubt the Constitution, as written/Amended has had much if ANY direct influence on our characters/morality. I cannot totally disagree with your concept of schools as "daycare centers", but PLEASE, don't sell America Short!

If you are trying to be the 'poster' child for ANY educational change, it would be behoove you to show some modicum of education. While some of your points seem salient, I find it difficult to follow someone you doesn't take the time to properly capitalize, nor use proper sentence and paragraph structure.

Let me guess; you were either 'educated/eddiecated' on-line, or just are stupid enough to believe that your comments are so important that you can't be bothered.

Either way, your sloppy writing equates to shooting yourself in the foot.

Wow Milt, despite trying to fluff up your sentences and use big words, your grammar is awful.

Thanks for the grammar critique, one can always learn from the unlearned.

"Wow,Milt" should have been a single sentence, other than that, your snarky and worhtless comment holds.

You may now kiss my fluffed up behind.

holds what? water?

interesting that milt believes his/her post to be perfect grammatically.

perhaps it is humility that has allowed milt to ascend to such heights of sound prose?

If both parents have to work, to feed the Government's bottomless throat, then what are they to do with their children? Not counting abortion, delay, or just not having them at all. Which are problems in their own right, of course.
Many years ago, as a young man, I read a very interesting book about the rise of the Communists to power in China. In the last chapter, the author tried to explain why and how this had happened.

Among the factors he cited were the country's educators. That struck me as odd, and not very plausible, at the time. But the passing years have made that seem less and less odd, and more and more plausible. Today, I see our own educators playing a similar role in creating a mindset that undermines American society.

Schools were once thought of as places where a...
