Obama's college records are not sealed. They are not public, but that's because of the Buckley Amendment, a law proposed by conservative stalwart Jim Buckley (Bill's brother), which takes the libertarian view that individual privacy should be protected by all schools, public and private. Why do some people need to make up hoaxes, like the hoax that the president's great grades are sealed? (Sealing would require a court order, and that would be public record. You claim they are sealed? You're a liar until you produce the record of the court that sealed them -- and there is no such record.) Occidental's professors say Obama was a great student. Same at Columbia, and Harvard.
Unreal! on the 65 years leading up to the Benghazi attack, Mitt Romney had never had a national security briefing. No wonder he flew off the handle with wild and inappropriate remarks! http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57511529-503544/romney-does-not-get-national-security-briefings/
But the reality is that increasing U.S. oil supplies, or production, or exploration, doesn't necessarily bring down the price of gasoline, especially because that is dictated more by the futures market. The futures market is looking, now, at instability in the Middle East, especially Iran, and China's growing markets. Over the past year or so, fear of war in Iran has driven up oil -- so every time Rick Santorum said we ought to bomb Tehran, your gasoline went up another $0.10/gallon. Romney's wild pronouncements about supporting war in the Gulf keep the prices up. What about drilling in the U.S.? Well, Obama's allowed that, in spades. In fact, on Obama's watch, oil exploration is up, oil production is up, . . . .
According to Hayek, socialism occurs when the state owns or controls the "means of production" in an industry. Under ObamaCare, the private insurance companies are required to not disqualify people for pre-existing conditions, to provide preventive care, and to cover children stuck in the young adult "doughnut hole." But they remain private insurance companies. Health care is delivered by private physicians, working in private offices, private clinics and private hospitals. The government takes over none of those institutions. Pharmaceuticals are provided by private manufacturers. Health care devices are manufactured by for-profit, private companies. The government owns or controls no "means of production." Socialism? Where?
