Why Did He Kill All Those Children?

A couple of decades back, there was an instance with some teens descecrating a graveyard. Since they were wearind Judas Priest and other metal band t-shirts, everyone was up in arms over the level of chaos and sickness being generated by heavy metal music. Now we're out to blame video games? Belive me, someone like this sick sonuvvagun clearly had more disconnects from reality than thinking he'd be racking up the points with his shootout. I'm over 40 and I know how violent these things can be. I don't play the harder shoot 'em type but that's because I like the super-hero oriented ones. Still, as visceral as Wolverine is on video, I don't get the urge to go out and dice somebody up.

As you said, you are over 40. A 12 yr old brain is not yet fully functional.
The idea for massacring children in an elementary school or shooting up a mall filled with Christmas shoppers does not come from reading books, watching movies or listening to music. Does the incitement for such unspeakable acts come from hours of role-playing violent video games?

As we speculate on what was going on in the mind of the murderer, the media are trying to blame his evil act on the lack of gun control. But the ownership of firearms or attending a shooting range do not desensitize someone to the cold-blooded murder of many children.

The act of mass, cold-blooded murder...
