Obama is the first president without a traditional education in American History & Cultural Stories. the upcoming majority - those under 35 or so - are in the same situation. Truth, Justice and the American Way are rapidly being disregarded for the convenient, immediate and comfortable. In this system that robs Peter to pay Paul the Dems have discovered it's easier to create Pauls than it is to foster the development of Peters. "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch" is a reality that will shock a lot of people within the coming decade. (That's 10 years for those of you under 35.)

The High Road Led Straight to Defeat for Romney

If Election Day is about picking winners, the morning after is for post-mortems. That's when we slice open the losing campaigns, set aside the hundreds of millions of dollars that gush out, and pick apart the cause of death.

Why did the Romney campaign fail? Maybe the country is now GOP-proof. That is, maybe a Constitution-guided, free-market, limited-government candidate no longer can "appeal" to the majority of the electorate. It could be that the death knell rang early this year once 67.3 million of us, or one in five Americans, had come to depend on federal assistance, formerly known as "the dole."
