I am fine with this as long as enforcement and securing the border legislation is passed first and any legalization/path to citizenship legislation is held until the requirements of the first legislation is verified. NO legislation containing legalization should be passed until the border is secure. Please write the Speaker and your Congressperson to urge this course of action. The only way this is going to work is if the people speak out.
Actually 9th...and about on par with Greece in terms of economic viability. Their debt is over 1 TRILLION smackeroos. http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2013/05/01/report-californias-actual-debt-set-at-848b-could-pass-1-1t/
Everyone with a brain and a calculator knew this was coming. Why is it only liberals are now just getting to the party? Oh, wait, I answered my own question.
Small government? The City of Detroit is the largest employer in the city! OH. MY. GOD. Liberals have neither shame nor intelligence.

Actually, it does if you'd read something other than the Huffington Post. Try: http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2012/10/10/explaining-the-math-behind-mitt-romneys-middle-class-tax-cut/ or here: http://www.aei-ideas.org/2012/08/how-the-tax-policy-center-could-improve-their-romney-tax-study/ or here: http://www.american.com/archive/2012/october/the-romney-tax-plan-not-a-tax-hike-on-the-middle-class There's more, but you get the drift.

I'm sorry Ms. West, but are you insane? His remarks made him UNELECTABLE. And for a seat that looked like a slam dunk pick-up. The ONLY reason he won the primary is because McGaskill spent a LOT of money getting him elected and a TON of Democrats crossed over to vote for him knowing he's the weakest of the candidates. He is now 10 POINTS DOWN in a conservative state that recognizes McGaskill is a disaster. A write in candidacy ala Lisa Murkowski is our best hope now.

That's right. Listen to Politifact vs listen to the statement Obama actually made and judge for yourself. I did, and it's clear Obama is spewing the same nonsense as Elizabeth Warren. He meant exactly what he said. And please read the proposed rule change by HHS. It, in fact, DOES give state the ability to waive the work requirement. That is A FACT. READ IT AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.

Incorrect. The saving in Ryan's plan of $716 B is used to shore up the Medicare Trust Fund. The $716 B Obama raided from Medicare is going to fund 1/3 of Obamacare. HUGE difference. And moot. If Romney is elected, Obamacare is not implemented and the cuts never happen anyway.. And what good is a benefit if no one will provide it? The "waste and inefficiencies" is reduced payments to providers. Didn't you read the article? CBO estimates that 30% of providers will refuse to take Medicare patients. So you have a huge increase in Medicare patients (the baby boomer bulge) entering the market with a dramatically reduced amount of providers willing to provide "benefits". What in the world do you think is going to happen????
