This is funny!!! Progressives 'really' believe that they are 'needed' and 'must' step up and manage society. That 'we' shouldn't have 'reasons' of our own to live and work in certain areas and apply our individual skills. And if we do have 'reasons', they are wrong,misguided and foolish. Yet another necessary task to create Utopia.

What more can I say. Dr.Sowell has a way of breaking things down, that are advertised as 'complexed issues', into a clearly identifiable misdirection from the truth. Left Wing 'Think Tanks', uninvolved, non-participants in 'everyday life' can only 'see' statistics. They travel in a small circle of people that are much like them, who also have little data. They sit among themselves and confirm 'misinformation' based on misinterpreted behavior, come to 'their' reasonings, then insert it into the framework of society. The Left had a free ride for decades. When Rush came on the scene, suddenly there was a 'voice' that was 'saying' what so many were 'thinking'. What Rush has been is the voice of Conservatism that refuses to be 'bullied' by the Left and willing to put the 'high beam' on what they represent so that it can be examined against the intent and the proposition of the United States of America. I for one 'thought' the same things that Rush 'said'. Here is a woman who went out there and used herself and her conduct to justify her position on contraceptives. This is an issue that the Left, as usual, wants both ways. With this issue, the usually Conservative stance of Ms.Chavez, is being compromised. The symbol of 'Justice' is blindfolded. There is good reason. "Justice" shouldn't be a respecter of 'persons'. It should be the 'Balance' foundationally for all. When one operates outside of this foundation for all, it is 'Illegal'. "Establishment Republicans" have a history of 'it's his turn' selections for their presidential candidates. They couldn't be more clear on that by rolling out John McCain and Bob Dole in support of Mitt Romney. How DUMB was that?! "Here are two losers advocating the candidacy of Mitt Romney. "Covetousness" are among the elements in Human Nature that has to be corrected as a child. It is tied to 'Envy' and 'Greed'. Ironic that those that seek 'fairness' demonize those that have 'more' as 'greedy'. These people made the effort to obtain. The 'covetous want the same things without making the effort to obtain them. "The grass is always 'greener' on the other side." Water 'your' grass and watch what happens. Just a thought.....

The 'elites' believe they know 'what went wrong' and can make the adjustments. Their real problem is, foundationally, it is a failed notion. Coming out of the gate, at least here in the US where our foundation is individual rights and freedoms, they introduce a principle that deeply cuts into the basis and reason of the US.
