Not all the unions can be blamed. Even the Teamsters were willing to reach a compromise; only the Bakers Union refused to compromise. There is still hope that private sector unions might be sensible. Public sector unions are a different matter.

Unions in any form just drive up prices for everyone. These morons don't get the glaring fact, if the economy isn't good, it doesn't matter what the union demands, there ain't no business, there ain't no job prospects to go to.

Labor Unions have officially killed off the Twinkie. The company that makes the yummy treat announced today they will start to downsize operations (a.k.a. fire people) as a result of a long battle with union workers.
