I just talked to a Republican. He said, "All the technology we enjoy today; you can thank the Apollo program, and our missions to the Moon in the 1960's." I asked, "You think some goob-mint program did all that?" He said, "America's greatest moment was when Neil Armstrong planted the flag on the moon!" I told him, "For every scientist and engineer at NASA there were at least a hundred scientists and engineers employed in the dreaded private sector." The Republican said, "It does not matter."

I suggest everyone here read a book called "Warning to the West," It was written by Alexander Solzhenitsyn and warns that American Marxists will take great pride in overtly waving the American flag with great ferocity. But one needs to listen closely to what they say. "These 'Communists' will always give themselves away by having an affinity for large 'state' run endeavers."

Rasmussen Reports' Daily Presidential Tracking Poll today puts Romney ahead of President Obama 49% to 47% among nationwide voters.

Important to note, according to Rasmussen: approximately one-third of the data was collected before Romney's strong debate performance this past Wednesday. It looks like "[t]he margin of sampling error" for Rasmussen's daily tracking polls, however, falls at +/- 3 percentage points.

Still, the poll is good news for the GOP challenger.

"Today is the first time Romney has been ahead by even a single point since mid-September," Rasmussen states.

This news follows the positive trend...
