After, the King and parliament refused to allow the colonies to elect representatives to parliament. They asked for far less elected representation than the people have now with an elected President and Congress. Jefferson would consider a call for insurrection under current circumstances to be absurd. Lenin might go for it though. ;)

Jefferson and Washington et al did not call for revolution until they were finally denied representation in Parliament. Taxation without representation was the call to arms/

Total liberty would involve anarchy. Are you an anarchist? For me a system that allows for the redress of any violation of basic rights, and that permits an opposition to organize, vote and run for office is all about personal liberty. Take advantage of that while you still can instead of imitating the old South in its march to total destruction.
