George Bush appointed so many blacks, women and erm "Hispanics" to his cabinet it wasn't funny. He chose them for their talent and skills however. I guess that is wrong. The white male democrats in power chose women, blacks and Hispanics not for talent but for the token "minority" as long as they don't look better than their democrat master. Republicans are losing elections in part because they are losing key demographic groups. Some of those groups, like Hispanics, are growing, making them impossible to ignore. 37 percent of the country is nonwhite.
