We the people act like we can control things or even direct them in a better path. Who are we fooling? The government and politicians for decades have done what they want and to with the people. We will not be able to change it because we have only one tool and that is revoloution, and I don't think we have the nerve for that. Politicians make laws for us but not for them. Social security has run it's course and will soon be bankrupt but they don't want to admit that so they just keep wanting more money. I want the same benefits and insurance as senate and congress.

"Revolution"? We have one every couple of years, in November. If you didn't participate, by not voting, then don't complain.

Reginald10-I'm in complete agreement with you with your "If you didn't vote, don't complain" (paraphrased)--I personally dozens (perhaps hundreds) of Non-voters last election. We got what we deserve if we don't vote! It's that simple, right (I had about 6 names I was gonna throw out there) but I figure you already hate yourselves enough!

There is something we can do--at the State level. Read this article on what the Founding Fathers had to say about a government that stops listening to the people or following the Constitution. Everyone should know what the Framers had to say.

Now that the election is past us, perhaps liberals and conservatives can agree on a bipartisan measure of reform that’s sorely needed in Washington: Obama needs to remove Eric Holder from his spot as the nation’s top law enforcement officer.

As a conservative, I have been outraged by the selective prosecutions, subversions of the laws to protect political power, the disregard of constitutional checks and balances, along with the general arrogance of the Arrogant General, Eric Holder.

And now, it seems, liberals are starting to have the same concerns that conservatives do.

The growing unease that liberals have felt...
