Herman - "To Henry Please share your wisdom with me. Iraq was a country 6,500 miles away with no WMDs' and very little Navy or Air Force. How were they dangerous? " I know I have explained this to you before....but am willing to do so again. At the time Iraq was firing on our aircraft, and thumbing his nose at the UN agreement. Then he was threatening an attack on the US, right after 9/11. We also had 7 other countries besides ourselves that stated they had intel on the means by which he could hit us...WMD. Bush would have been irresponsible to not react. It also allowed us a forward base to kill those who wanted to kill us...end of lesson.

btw- don't forget that yellowcake Uranium WAS found and sent to Canada. Why Bush never used it publicly admitted it is beyond me- but then so was his refusal to defend himself against scurrilous attacks that eventually succeeded in tarring him.
It would also have instantly destroyed the credibility of that fool who went to Niger and was told Niger dodn't send yellowcake to Iraq- which triggered off the Valerie Plame scandal- itself a monumental example of prosecutorial and judicial malfeasance.

Because it was classified...and Bush did the right thing by not making it public....unlike the libturd who probably got allot of contacts killed.

I can accept that - but I'm not sure why it was classified in the first place- given that it validated a major reason for going to war in the first place. And was clear evidence that the nuclear program not only existed but was well along.
But it got a man convicted of a manufactured crime by a prosecutor who knew not only that no crime had been committed but who the person that leaked the name was before he ever talked to Libby.

Agreed but if we post secrets that get informants killed...we will get no more intel
Dave M Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 4:39 PM
I don't really want to argue the fine points of intel- I can accept it if that was the case .
But the criminal malfeasance on the part of both the prosecutor and the trial court still sticks in my craw. These scum including Plame and her husband came out with their reputations intact. Where does Libby go to get his professional reputation back?

We've all explained the Iraq War over and over to paulbots and libturds.....I think they are learning challenged.

Former Rep. Ron Paul apparently isn't quite ready to leave the spotlight. Today on his Twitter feed, the failed presidential candidate decided to opine on the recent murder of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who was helping a fellow soldier recover from PTSD at the time he was killed.

Kyle was known as the "deadliest" sniper and holds the record for the most sniper kills of terrorists in U.S. history. Kyle was a hero and a family man who dedicated his post-military life to helping soldiers recovering...
