Progressives are limited to the here and now, or single instance focus, and seem unable to connect dots. Instead of looking a wide problem they focus on one little instance and try to make a one size fits all solution to an issue. This leads to solutions that seek to cure a disease by killing a patient. A better way to handle issues is to look at the wider spectrum and add in history and lessons learned from it. In this way your solution more widely answers the over all problem. Why do you think progressives have this problem solving block? Are they incapable, as in intellectually or is it because they want instant gratification instead of taking the long sure road?

couldn't disagree more Mike. Progturd's look at their longer range goal of making the common citizen a serf, while they themselves get to lead us (and of course live better than us because they need too) to their glorious utopia....
