Your post shows you know nothing about economics. 3.21 per employee per week is a huge number. Why do you think it makes sense for manufacturers to hike their prices by cents? It is the volume that adds up. Also, if an average employee makes 20 per hour, then 3.21 is some 16% increase in costs. These are big numbers in aggregate. If your mortgage or rent would go up by 16% only because the government mandated it, you would have a fit!
