Let's be honest here... Olympia Snowe, had to go. As a Libertarian, I believe the constituents in the state should be represented correctly. I'd rather have a real liberal represent Maine, than a fake conservative. All Americans should be represented correctly. Party loyalty is a thing of the past. I instantly lose respect for any politician that tout's their "party loyalty". Wtf does that have to do with anything? You answer to me, and not your stinking party.
The Maine Senate race that once seemed like a one-man show is now getting more players. Independent candidate Angus King’s once significant lead back in June, when he led with a comfortable 27 points, has since dropped to 14.5 as his opponents Cynthia Dill (D) and Secretary of State Charlie Summers (R) begin to close the gap.
