Documentary on Obama a Balancing Act

I think that Saunders is also walking a narrow line -- we all must be careful not to put ourselves in a place where there is any hint of racism. D'Souza clearly was walking that same thin line. (I try to, as well). This limits what he can say and do. Also, this is a movie. Time is limited, and it is difficult to translate concepts such as "anti-colonialism" visually. Ms. Saunders should read the book as well. Finally, it is always problematic when anybody tries to get "inside someone else's head" as D'Souza does. I would like to add, however, that the MSM had no problem when many pundits "psycho-analyzed" "W" and found him to be a dimwit, trigger-happy, cowboy.

Dr Floyd, I'd get my 'degree' in psychology from somewhere other than a box of c r a c k er j a c k s. From all I can see, you're just a mincing, sanctimonious fool.

WE do not have to be careful at all about racism. Happily for us they so overplayed that card that not all of those who were so sensitive..even THEY are sick to death of the race card.

AS apologists they thought for sure electing a black president would get them out of the doghouse. Given the proliferation of racist comments for the most obscure of phrases, the 'racism' choir overplayed its hand. The race 'card' has been all but removed from the deck.

Go away and no need to worry about racism. Put a fork in it.

Everything is racist, you can't speak without being racist now according to liberals

Kitchen cabinet=racist
Chicago=racist
Foodstamps=racist
welfare=racist
and on and on, I'm sure milk is racist because it's white
This hypersensitive krap needs to end, it is just a tool to divide the Nation.

You nailed it beautifully,Lemmi. Any disagreement, and criticism of the Obama, policies, immediately marks you as a Racist. Been there and done that.

None of these things are 'racist'. Racism is a belief that by some kind of criteria, one race is 'better' than all others (usually the believer's, but not for Leftists). The PC rules above are simply commands issued by blacks to whites about what language they will be allowed to use. We are still 2/3 of the population in America, so, if we obey the other 1/3, whose fault is that, really.

TAMPA, Fla. -- You could say that the film "2016: Obama's America" is the GOP equivalent of Michael Moore's "Roger and Me." The documentary is based on conservative firebrand Dinesh D'Souza's 2010 book, "The Roots of Obama's Rage." As the film's narrator, D'Souza argues that Barack Obama's philosophy is "anti-colonialist," a legacy passed on from his Kenyan father, who left Obama's family when he was 2 years old.
I watched "2016" with the California delegation at the 2012 Republican National Convention on Monday when the confab was delayed because of Hurricane Isaac. And I was surprised to see former...
