Ahh, I love the sound of good satire. No, Mr. Ransom not you, I'm referring to Dr. Wolfe, certainly he was just putting us on. Certainly, he can't be as dumb as he sounds and have a Ph.D. can he? Please, say it ain't so, John. Charitable giving may well be the best measure of socialism. After all, why would a socialist give away his own money when he has other people's money to give away? Oh, and just to be clear: Atheist = socialist.

I’m not sure what it takes to tack PhD to your name but I know what it doesn’t, i.e., brains. At the age of 81 I have worked with many PhDs in engineering, chemistry, physics, etc. and can tell you some are brilliant and productive while others have the brains of a squirrel. What’s fascinating is that those with the brains of a squirrel have the personality of a houseplant and are narcissistic elitist jerks.

A new study produced by the Chronicle of Philanthropy shows that 14 out of the top 20 states in charitable giving are red, or Republican states, while 12 of the bottom 15 are blue, or Democrat states.
