Dr. Sowell: After spending a considerable amount of time and energy addressing the issues presented in your column, I received the reply "inappropriate language". There was no obscenity used, and I consider your editors to be biased and bigoted. Sincerely, Draper Gregory
Try to remember that this election will probably establish the realization that the VOTERS are ultimately the power in the country. What we have to do is investigate and make an informed vote. Outfits like the Tea Party have generally done considerable investigation into the qualifications of the candidates they endorse.. I admit, the Tea Party does a much better job of determining who to vote for than I could. So I respectfully suggest that you can't go too far wrong in following their recommendations. Incidentally, that rally in DC really lacked the requisite DIGNITY. Draper Gregory
You know what, I get the distinct feeling that the editiors on this lashup are political infiltrators. Inappropriate language indeed. You must think we are a bunch of unaware people, not to see through your transparent manipulations. We'll catch up one day.

Well it should be clear by now that the Afghan government is playing us like a violin. It's time to stop this now. End of story. All the best. Draper Gregory

Dear Pat: You make some solid points. Thanks for the observations. We shall impress Congress with the simple fact that an aroused populace is a powerful force, and the Tea Party is an appropriate group to carry the messages out to the public. All the best. Draper Gregory

Oliver, you have gotten the real perspective on the current administration. As long as we have responsible voters out there, our country still has a chance. What amazes me is the arrogance people have who think that this country will be around forever. Think about it boys and girls. All the best. Draper Gegory

Whew! There's a lot of heat and frustration as well as fear out there, judging from the above comments. Let's put the matter in perspective and realize that the real underlying purpose behind "this election" is to impress the elected people that they are "PUBLIC SERVANTS", and that hereafter, we are going to scrutinize their performance while in office. End of story. The real hard work starts "after" the election. It looks like the Tea Party is just the right thing to do that. All the best. Draper Gregory

Well, Steve, I guess we'll just have to wait to see what affect the Tea Party will have. Then we just might get a proper dose of common sense, integrity and honesty, which we shall INSIST ON. Draper Gregory
