Dems' Ill. Lt. Gov. Candidate Drops Out

This shows the liberal media in Chicago BLATANTLY protected Cohen. When a convicted prostitute has more credibility than the Democratic Lt. Governor nominee...it shows this state has not changed one bit. The best part is the large number of people on the blogs up here vehemently defending Cohen. If he had done nothing wrong, why did he resign? Don't even give me this media bashing garbage, either. Blaming the media for his dubious past is laughable. If he had a track record of abuse towards women...there is absolutely ZERO REASON HE SHOULD HOLD ANY PUBLIC OFFICE. Period. Even as a figure head. Defending him...is SO WRONG AND PATHETIC ON EVERY LEVEL. Want to have some fun? Visit the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times blogs on Scott...

Closing the New Frontier

Great point. I can cite an example straight out of my blog post on the subject. In late 80's...the original estimates of a human Mars voyage were coming from $400 billion to $1 trillion. Then Dr. Robert Zubrin emerged from the private sector.

Thanks to Dr. Robert Zubrin's tireless dedication and innovative ideas, NASA finally decided to take a good hard look at the what became known as 'The Mars Direct' program. Coupled with the encouragement of former NASA Associate Administrator for Exploration Mike Griffin and NASA Administrator Dan Goldin, the group at Johnson Space Center began designing human Mars missions. They then produced a cost estimate for what a 'Mars Direct' exploration program would cost.

Their result: ...

Just my opinion, I hope we can get out of this fiscal mess we are in during my lifetime. I was really getting excited about the Mars Direct program. I say we skip the voyage to the moon and head to Mars. There is also a possibility of a joint international venture in the public or private sectors. Read the Ben Rich quote below:

“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity….. anything you can imagine we already know how to do.”

I posted a blog here on Townhall about the privatization of NASA. Interesting subject actually. Check it out. However, I fully admit...it pales in comparison to Dr. Krauthammer's. As usual...I am impressed and realize I have a long, long way to go. My post deals with my concept that perhaps other governmental agencies may be privatized as well. Check out if you like. Keep in mind, I am not on Dr. K's level, but it is an interesting topic to read about.

The Great Peasant Revolt of 2010

President Obama, (under the puppet-pulling direction of David Axelrod & Rahm Emanuel), seems so tone deaf. I seriously wonder if these 3 men look at polls as if people are dumber than a bag of hair. It is obvious to me that when this administration has a major setback to their agenda, they honestly think the American people are just wrong, and do not know what they are talking about. Our brain is equipped to fit primitive survival patterns, in the fight or flight mode. They have selected fight mode on every single occasion, and refuse to recognize that the American people are specifically upset about THEIR agenda, not because the Republicans are 'obstructive', or because of 'political bickering'. The American people are upset with...
CHRIS MATHEWS AND KEITH OLBERMANN BELONG ON THE TOOL!ACADEMY!! READ THIS ONE:
"Well to reach back to one of our heroes from the past, from the 60s, Saul Alinsky once said, that even though both sides have flaws in their arguments and you can always find something nuanced about your own side you don't like and it's never perfect, you have to act in the end....I always try to remind myself of Saul Alinsky when I get confused" --Chris "Tingle" Mathews
Yeah...you'll have plenty of time for that when you're off the air, Tingle.
Chris 'Tingle' Mathews: "I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often."
"He is post-racial by all appearances. I forgot he was black for about an hour." --Chris Mathews

For a kid who claims their favorite toy is cake, I feel zero pity. If the high chair is equipped with a service elevator, you are doing a lousy job as a parent. Kids are starving in the rest of the world, while these whales throw a fit if they don't get their daily Happy Meals.
On obesity...oh those poor fat children. They live like kings compared to the rest of the world. All I ever hear are things like: "it is the school cafeteria that is to blame", or "it is the food's fault." How about creating a computer game that will not turn back on...UNTIL THEY RUN A LAP? Problem solved.
