The argument used by Liberals and the anti-gun crowd that equates the need to regulate firearms the way speech is regulated is a fallacious analogy by ignorant, or worse, criminally biased people. Everyone has the right to keep and bear their ability to speak. It is the USE of speech in a criminal manner that is regulated, not the person's voice. (e.g YELLING "FIRE" when there is none is a crime.) So too does everyone have the right to keep and bear arms. It is the USE of a firearm in a criminal manner that is regulated (and extremely so in our country), and not the gun itself.
