I hate to say it, and may even get a call or visit from somebody in uniform for saying it but, we ought to assassinate all the elected officials refusing to cut spending (and not just reduce the increase in spending). That seems to be the ONLY way we are going to fix this problem. Too many selfish voters at the feeding trough unwilling to make a sacrifice to force politicians to do the right thing or be voted out of office. Too many selfish politicians who know nothing of self sacrifice for their country. (That's reflected in how many ever volunteered for the military, virtually none of them.) Parasites are a disease. And diseases are only eliminated by destroying the disease.

I find it amazing that America is saddled with $16.0 trillion in debt, and yet lawmakers are haggling over how much to tax productive citizens. It's so insulting and so bass-ackwards, I want to scream. But it's not only a primordial outcry because of a policy that penalizes all the hours, weeks, months, and years of work and sacrifice, but also the drubbing of disrespect that has been part of the campaign.
