Bill O'Reilly Loses It During Gun Control Debate

cmcboss, you have a problem. You don't understand freedom and government. The fact that your neighbor won't keep his grass cut isn't your right to dictate, and shouldn't be the responsibility of the governement to enforce. That's his property, and is his to do with as he pleases as long as it does not directly interfer with you. Now if he is harboring hordes of rats that are invading your property every night, that's a different matter. As for roads, those are for common usage. Government is, and should remain, a set of agreements between people on how to maintain and use those aspects of common usage.

Him cutting his grass raises my property tax.

As for "property values", who really gives a rip unless they are trying to sell their houses. Not interested? Shut you face.

When my septic system overflows down into the street City Hall won't give me a discharge permit. They don't have a problem permitting the municipal sewage plant to discharge untreated gook into our lake. What is worse ?? government does not work for anything..especially gun owners and shooters.

Actually Drzinj, if his unkempt yard is driving down housing prices (and it will) in your area then yes it is his business. Furthermore many of us live w/in the confines of a HoA (and HATE it). That agreement further adds rules and responsibilities.

YOU'RE confusing or minimizing Freedom versus RESPONSIBILITY

Last night on the O'Reilly Factor, the debate between Bill O'Reilly and Rep. Jason Chaffetz got extremely heated after O'Reilly called for Congress to pass a law requiring the registration of all "heavy" weapons to be reported to the FBI because it "makes sense."

First off, if you want to buy a machine gun legally, you can't get one unless you get a special permit from ATF. O'Reilly grossly misstated the facts. You cannot go buy a mortar or a full automatic machine gun at any gun...
