Unless you can shoulder a howitzer and carry by yourself for a 50 mile march, artillery are not "born" arms and therefore not protected by the Second Amendment. Technically, if you're an able bodied adult non-felon the BATFE can't say no to your buying, owning, and using fully automatic weapons. But they claim you give up your 4th amendment right to protection against unreasonable search and seizure in that case.
