There is an unmentioned positive aspect to the Wyden-Ryan Plan. And that is preservation and expansion of the personal doctor-patient relationship and trust. Incentive and innovation will once again be restored to the medical profession with confidence in professional diagnosis and judgment. Therein lies the superiority of American Medicine that has developed in the US and is stiffed by the "progressive" Democrat approach to delivery of medical care. D.L. Wood
The Big O is certainly an ideologue believing in the historically-failed philosophy of socialism. In all instances, socialism can only be brought on by fraudulence and deceit. That is why B. Obama tries (by teleprompter) to sound in favor of market values and capitalism while at the same time acting in all instances to suppress and regulate them. Obamacare definitively snuffs out doctor incentive and decision The presence vetting his background by significant authors could have been done at the time of his election except for the deceitful comrade-biased media hacks who shared his ideology and dishonestly refused to report it. For the informed, responsible citizens of this country, the decision in November is seriously important. D.L. Wood

No Hope for Obama; It's Mitt Time

Destroying property is criminal. Destroying people's ability to create and own property is equivalent to destroying property. The perpetrator of destruction of property and the creation of property is a criminal. Therefore, B. Obama is a criminal (of huge proportion), but who is willing to step forward and say so besides David Limbaugh and his brother. D.L. Wood

Justice is the absence of injustice! All acts of coercion are unjust! Fraud is an example of coercion! Obamacare was presented and ‘sold’ to the American public by fraud! THEREFORE, it is unjust for Chief Justice Roberts to uphold this law. D.L. Wood

I fear that Steve Chapman is woefully unaware of the quantitative build up of Sharia Law adherent Muslims in Europe, England, around the world and even some high judges in the US to make such weak-kneed statements in favor of dropping our guard regarding the possible Sharia encroachment upon our religious tolerance and traditional Constitutional law. Isn't it astounding how government workers at all levels must continue to think up 'new' ideas to keep busy in otherwise useless tax-paid positions? D.L. Wood

When one adheres to the erroneous philosophical assertion that B. Obama spoke to the Ohio plumber in his campaign for president in 2008, namely, "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody," that is an admission of the criminality of coercively taking private property to give to a cadre of under-achieving welfare recipients. It is a crime to take private property without the owner's permission for any reason (thievery). That action is part and parcel to the system of socialism that has failed in EVERY instance that it has been applied throughout history. Why there is not a larger outcry now is due to the ignorance of inadequate education. I am truly worried about the future. D. L. Wood
As a concerned citizen I am continually disturbed as I read continuously about the huge spending for domestic purposes and the attempts to reduce defense spending, but I have next to no reporting of what all the spending has been for. How come the vast amounts are not reported for the benefit of us taxpayers? The non-specifics of it all are truly disconcerting. D.L. Wood
Thank you Daniel for the accurate interpretation to us amateurs who are so interested in the present economic happenings but need help in understanding the complexities you understand so well. D.L. Wood

Obama Is a Big-Time Law Violator

Dear Phyllis, In referring to the "Democrat"-dominated Senate, please avoid using the word "democratic" Senate. When dealing with believers in the left-wing liberal agenda, it is proper, in my opinion, to utilize the appropriate label. Loved your article. I have recognized for a long time that when someone coercively affects other people's property following an agenda that deprives citizens their jobs as well as forcing them to subsidize against their will (by raising taxes) to cover their collectivist program, then we define that as a form of thievery, and all thievery is criminal.
