The New Netanyahu?

As long as Barack Obama is in office, Netanyahu will have to tap dance around the so-called 'peace process.' It is no secret that Obama ihas been raised to hate Israel, and his position now requires him to pretend otherwise. That pretense is not easy for Obama because his mouth is required to say things his heart does not believe. The terrorists now feel their window of opportunity remains while Obama is president; (and the State Departament is filled with anati-Israel types) so count on many more episodes of violence and testing of wills.

Guide to the Perplexed

As far back as I can remember the support for Israel coming from most presidents - Reagan exempted - has been qualified. But never before have I seen such utter contempt for Israel and such smoldering hostility that emanates from the Obama White House - much worse even than from the Clinton White House. Each president comes into office with the notion that finally, he will be the one to make peace in the Middle East by virtue of his compelling personality (it's an ego thing)- by demanding all concessions from Israel. The Arab world is awash in land that could be used for settlers/refugees, and other assorted political pawns. But that would not get at the heart of the matter: Israel's very presence is a reminder to the Jihadists...
