Crying Rape

Dr. Mike.... did the Inquisitors who burned the innocent in the midst of religious wars against freedom of thought feel guilty or were they interested in the "stories" or lies of those they killed? Surely not, as Dogma, followed by the weak minded, inflexible, and ambitious is its own justification and requires no interest in anything but the sanctification of the Dogma. Remember, we've been in a religious war for over 100 years - these are just the more well-versed brown shirts you are facing in this round. The Dogma varies in surface content from that initiated Innocent III against the Albigensians, but not in its soul.

Profiles in Tolerance

Correctly exposing the nasty side of "tolerance" is a laudable aim. Anyone who has read George Washington's piece on this theme would, with a half-developed open mind, understand that context. The hypocrisy of claiming to be non-judgemental and "tolerant" is a typical oxymoron taught to the populace by a mass media and academia which is similarly and poorly educated. Having multiple letters behind one's name does not guarantee that one is educated, merely and often it assures that they are no more profound than a trained goat that can read.

Personal Liberty 101

Mike, Aside from agreeing on the abortion issue, I must take issue with the mixed metaphor of political persuasion and religious doctrine. "Liberals" believe that man can create the circumstances in which people can become "more perfected" which, from a normal, Deistic religious standpoint is absurd and meaningless. However, outside the USA, Judaism is generally a conservative religious group. The US Jewish culture is an anomaly probably because in the pressure to assimilate, the Left found immigrant Jews to be another group of "useful idiots" and they became, thusly, enamoured of and indoctrinated into progressive politics. It may also have something to do with conservative country clubs, but that is another issue. I relate this...

Do You Feel Like We Do

Dr. Druhl Wrote: Apr 20, 2011 10:54 AM
Your "feelings" are not alone on this, Mike. In my experience throughout North America and Europe over the past 20+ years, your experience is reflected in the general working population - where they "feel" things are unfair and must be changed - for them? It was also so in the 60's where one could get the "feeling" that those preaching revolution, not dissimilar to those of today, were doing so to improve their position irrespective of any and all data about how their position was a culmination of past societal improvements and arguments, however factually based, on how their "changes" would generally reverse the possibility of attaining even the position they currently possessed. I wrote to another author noting that "facts are...

We Don’t Need Know Education

Dr. Druhl Wrote: Apr 04, 2011 8:52 AM
As long as the country is apparently led by someone who was given a free pass because he learned to sound and appear literate (and was clean, hehehe) without knowing all the facts, the Phillips Curve-like progress in US education will continue. Without having real consequences for failure, the US is doomed to be populated by illiterates who believe they are educated. I see a great future for reinvigorating the Phlogiston Theory, as it might be applied - like - more universally than merely to life. Get dat?

Interesting to see Hal is still around - I thought he'd gone overseas to help his ideological mates in the Muslim Brotherhood. I understand all good Marxists are cozying up to Muslims these days. I also suspect both groups think the others are the "useful idiots" in that relationship of mutually agreeable death and destruction. One wonders who will survive if they are triumphant. Only then will we know the answer to the above musing.

It was written below: "I wouldn't be surprise if nowadays you can get a " degree " in toilet bowl cleaning." You can, as a matter of fact. However, they refer to it by another name so as to avoid unpleasant questions in job interviews. It is known as "Women's studies".
