AND, Iraq was sanctioned by congress, unlike Libya. You see, President Bush believed in the constitution. Obama doesn't.
Even Clinton, when he was president, said Iraq needed a regime change, and cited WMDs as one of the reasons. He just didn't have the cajones to do anything about it.
I beg to differ with the assertion that President Bush was acting on "dubious intelligence". The worldwide intelligence community believed Hussein has WMDs. Hussein was even telling his generals and the world that he had them. Every well-known liberal was lambasting President Bush for not having already gone into Iraq to deal with Hussein's WMDs. Was the intelligence wrong? Partly. Was it dubious? No way.

But they would have to lie intensely to convince voters that "Republicans are extremists that are attempting to lead the nation into a Fascist dictators." That has long been the Democrat strategy. A Republican freed the slaves. Yet, Dems try to convince voters that Repubs are racist. Republicans belive in freedom, rugged individualism and a safety net. Dems believe in more and more government control, and hammocks (instead of safety nets).
