I am not a Mormon but you have it right 100%. Mainstream Christian denominations have the opinion they are the only ones who have it right and everyone else is going to hell. They all hire pastors that will preach what they want to hear. I could read some passages straight from the Bible that would get me thrown out of most of the social clubs called churches nowadays.
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
