Ken, it's a good idea to kick Iran out of the UN, but that wouldn't begin to solve the problem with the UN. The trouble with the UN is that dicatorships, monarchies, and theocracies far outnumber the democracies. The solution would be to form an alternate organization of the world's democratic nations. That would be a step in the right direction. Let the dictators, the terrorists and the oligarchs relocate what's left of the UN to some vile corner of the earth.

I was about to suggest something similar. Withdraw from the UN and create a Union of Democratic World States, separate from the UN. Similar to NATO. A union with similar interests that sticks together and defends itself when attacked. So we no longer have to tolerate idiots like Ahmadinejad and El Hugo coming to lecture us and spew their hatred on our very soil. And there is no need to use our military to police whatever part of the world, let's defend our own interests, not waste money on somebody else's.

There, at the podium, he is placed on a par with President Obama, Prime Minister David Cameron, France's Francois Hollande, and other leaders of civilized states. Ahmadinejad has used this podium to spew his anti-American, anti-Israel hatred. And yet he receives hearty applause from the Islamist delegates seated before him.
