We can thank Hillary Clinton for our medical records being on computers that can be hacked by the state. HIPPA means nothing to 7shot Cuomo who is intent on removing all guns in the state except those help by criminals that are not registered. How this mans medical records were tapped into should be a priority and those involved put in jail. I f this is the way 7 shot wants to play terminate every state policeman that is or has taken these drugs. Take their personal weapons as well. I like the doctor that has piles of manilla files in his office and that is where my medical info is. I went to the ER for a nose bleed, my PCP knew about it the next day. I go to the blood lab and the PCP has the results the same day all because of computers

Not for long. All Doctors are being required to go to the new digtial records. Yours will too, if he/she stays in business.

If you think the fact he/she has not so far is going to protect you, you are living in a dream world.

Of course, you could just stop seeing a Doctor.

I understand that doctors are now asking patients whether they have a gun in the house when they go in for an office visit. This is all about gathering info in the computer to identify where the guns are when they are ready to start confiscating weapons. There is going to be big trouble over this in the near future.

Doug, read the language of Toomey's new gun bill. They will review your mental health records as part of the background check and in capital letters they state that this is NOT prohibited by HIPAA!! I saw the bill on Hot Air and in an article referenced by Drudge in the weekly standard. How can the government simply override HIPAA ? I am surprised that Katie didn't highlight this part of the bill. I strongly believe that the NY case was not a mistake and Cuomo just got caught.

They are trying to play down the NY case by saying it was a mistake to not draw attention to this section of the bill in the Federal bill. This is how they will confiscate guns. Think of the millions of people who are or we're on some type of antidepressant or ADHD

Quit giving out information to doctors that is outside of what they treat you for and don't ever discuss any physichiatric issues with them for any reason and don't let them even suggest it to you or in their notes on your record. It is best to quit going to doctors unless absolutely neccessary. They are now part of the government this for the government and control of the people. Velcome to america commerade. Ve Vill tell you what to do and how to act from here on. Those of you with blue eyes and blonde hair over there, the rest of you outside in the alley.

They can do it by writing it into law.

My doctor was livid when they demanded that he use the new computer system that he didn't want or need. This is more of the destruction of the rights of the people and the loss of our Constitution.

So, about that "we'll never come take your guns thing." From The Blaze:

On April 1st, a legal gun owner in upstate New York reportedly received an official notice from the state ordering him to surrender any and all weapons to his local police department. The note said that the person’s permit to own a gun in New York was being suspended as well. The gun owner contacted attorney Jim Tresmond (a specialist in gun laws in New York) and the two visited the local police precinct.

Mr. Tresmond reportedly went into the...
