Yes, I didn't adequately proofread. Good catch.
"Liberals have fundamental misconceptions about A) human nature, and B) the nature and creation of wealth." Pretty much sums it up.
"Are you Hispanic, black, Asian, Jewish, gay, young, old, poor, or a woman?" None of the above. I am a middle-aged, middle class, white Christian married male, and I live what many would call a conservative lifestyle: I am monogamous, and I do not drink, smoke, or use drugs. I attend church regularly. However, I am not a conservative. If some loser wants to waste his life doing bong hits in front of the television, I believe that he has every right to do so, as long as he isn't driving or stealing to buy his weed. Both liberals and conservatives believe that politicians ought to be making some of our choices for us. (What qualifies them to do this?). The only difference is which choices. I have, on numerous occasions, attempted to convince youngsters to give up weed by telling them how their futures will improve if they do. And I speak from experience. But neither I nor anybody else has any right to use force to stop anybody from doing something I approve of. Inevitably, someone will answer "Well, I suppose you think rape and murder ought to be legal too."

In a country with an alarmingly high rate of violent crime, especially high in cities where people can't carry.

Zimmerman's life was ruined by using a gun to save his own life. In a church in Colorado, Jeanne Assam shot and killed an armed lunatic who had shot and killed two people and had enough ammo on him to kill everybody there. At the Appalachian School of Law, two armed good guys stopped a psycho shooter before he could kill more people. On June 20, 1994, a gunman, former Airman Dean Mellberg, entered Fairchild Hospital looking for two mental health doctors he blamed for his discharge from the military. Four people were killed and 19 others injured in the ensuing rampage. Mellberg was stopped and killed by former Senior Airman Andrew Brown. Fictional TV stuff indeed!

Good for you. I just hope you don't have your life ruined by the law after saving a couple of dozen lives from a basement-dwelling, Ritalin-addled loser just because you stopped his killing spree in a place that bans guns.

Target just invited psycho shooters into their stores.
And to think, we could have had this freedom lover as president. Instead, we just keep getting bigger and bigger enemies of freedom.
The US government has not sent any soldiers into a legally declared and morally justifiable war since WWII.
Lyndon Johnson--DEMOCRAT--Texas
Millions have been murdered by governments since the invention of government. It's a damn shame when it happens, but the United States cannot intervene every time it happens. Japan's militarily attacked the US Navy. Vietnam didn't. Pearl Harbor was real. Tonkin Gulf was fake. The Vietnam war accomplished nothing, cost billions of taxpayer dollars, killed 58,000 Americans and more than 2 million Vietnamese (what, they're not people too?) and caused many more to be lifelong cripples, drunks, druggies, and/or emotional basket cases.
