Wait—I’m Not Quite Through

As the economy collapses these $15/hr workers will get laid off but not to worry, their unemployment checks will be considerably larger! Then the taxpayers will be the ones footing the bill. Why is it that some people can come up with what they think is a brilliant idea but they don't have the ability/inclination to think it through to consider all the consequences?

Have you ever noticed how many hotels/restaurants/delis/liquor stores are run/owned/managed by people who were obviously (because of their accents) not born in the U.S. of A.? They came here to make a better life for themselves; many speaking very limited English. They do this because they have pride in themselves and their abilities. This IS the land of opportunity if you're willing to work for it. Unfortunately, there are many people blaming 'the system' for their failure to do well when they don't put in the effort required. They will remain miserable, disenfranchised (often second and third-generation) parasites. Yes, the will and desire have to be there... but how does that happen if you're not internally motivated?
If and when there is a flat tax, what's to stop Congress from raising it every year to suit its needs? And if they can raise it every year, where's their incentive to rein in spending? I don't think a flat tax is a good idea.

Is it THAT to hard to believe, I mean, here, in a country that elected an inexperienced community-organizer and THEN re-elected him? It should be obvious from THAT that the mean I.Q. for the nation must be around room-temperature.
You could have easily replaced ANY of those items with rap or hip/hop 'music'.
What's the downside of letting them starve themselves to death? The food bills would obviously go down, the correctional officers won't be pelted with various body fluids, and future jihadists will not be too eager to enter the posh surroundings (as opposed to a normal cave somewhere in the mountains of Afthanistan) of a Western-style incarceration.

Add this: As you catch the illegals, put them on a Georgia chain-gang for a month to EARN their fare back to wherever they came from - no more free rides. And I think deporting 1 million a year will take closer to 30 years than 10... Who is counting the illegals in the country and why aren't they doing something about each and every one of them that they encounter? Obviously some government hack who'll proclaim that it's 'not my job' to deport or even report them. Can you think of any other country in the world who is this blind to people openly breaking the law. Try emigrating to N. Korea or China, or Cuba. Now, those people know how to control their boarders... we could learn a lot, or just enforce the laws we already have.
She's fluent in ebonics, ghetto, and partially proficient in English. Why a person can speak ebonics without ever taking it in school ('cept in Oakland) but can't speak English well is beyond me. It's her hair-I-tige.
There are a lot of things happening lately that are shaping the 2014 and 2016 elections. Anyone who has anything to do with Chris Christey (sp?), Marco Rubio, and John McCain should summarily be scrubbed from the GOP. Those RINO's have shown their true colors and anyone associated with them is immediately suspect. Where is the old GOP I used to be proud of? For that matter, after zero, where it the old AMERICA I used to be proud of? It'd take a miracle to correct the damage zero has done. The socialist have taken over the country and it will never be the same. All I hear is qu33rs getting married. How about Fast and Furious? IRS scandal? Where's the news on Benghazi lately? Why have we stopped looking for answers? The people responsible should be in jail somewhere. Instead, they get transferred to better, higher-paying jobs. There is NO accountability anywhere. Seems like a fiefdom to me.
Unfortunately, this friendliness hasn't spilled over into government-sector jobs. They don't care and don't have to worry about whether or not they're doing a great job. They can't be fired so they 'attend the building' (rather than 'work') to get their nice paychecks, and, after awhile, they'll get a nice retirement. Government-sector unions have ruined this country.
