This is reckless theology. There is much that can go wrong in life. Humanity was not given a reality with training wheels. However nice that might have been, it would have taken the zing out of free will. We can kill off every last passenger pigeon. We did. God didn't step in to stop us. We can plow up the southwest and pray for rain. We did. God didn't send rain. He just let his laws run their course. We got a dust bowl. And now, we can fill the skies with double or triple the natural level of CO2. What makes you think God will step in to stop us doing it? Or to stop His laws of nature from running their course? We can bring down unwanted consequences on ourselves. No training wheels.
