Your Mother should be applauded daily for her initiative, and held up as the poster child that shows that temporary support was the intention of the government programs we now have. It is, however, sad that many posters on these discussion sites do not want to hear any success stories like this. No doubt you will receive some negative feedback about her wonderful accomplishment. Look over this site and see how many posters are piqued because of O'Riley's success. Look for the same envy on all of the other sites!
In order to increase their income, many are taking up "moonlighting"! Most ;people will never succeed because they have been indoctrinated by the government and unions to believe that one should have everything they want from the incentive killing 40-hour work week!

A friend of mine worked for twenty-three years in the records section of a hospital, as a typist. Nothing noteworthy about that, except that she was blind at the time! "A quitter never wins and a winner never quits!"

"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer." --Benjamin Franklin, "Management of the Poor" (1766)
