Granted, someone may be a jerk by nature. However, arrogance and the attitude that one can behave in any fashion one wants comes from a lack of fear of repercussions. Tenure = lack of fear.

I was in DC Monday thru Wednesday during the SCOTUS hearings. Among many others, there was a group of young guys from Denmark. They were intrigued by the protests and said that the US is not socialist, but moving there. They are not happy with Denmark's SOCIALIST government and economy. One told me, "In Denmark, they take half of what we earn, and there are many who enjoy welfare and just stay on welfare." Also, I met a gentleman who was from Russia who works in DC. He said that his family left Russia as soon as they ban on travel was lifted to get away from the Communists. It is these folks who escaped that form of government that see how much we have to lose.
Hi, Robert. Point well taken... These 4, over the course of 20 years, added to the debt, but to the tune of just about $10 trillion. Looks like BHO will be adding somewhere around $6.5 to 7 trillion in his first term. See this interesting report: http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/obama-debt-ryan-plan/2012/03/21/id/433356

WTH does this mean? What does one thing have to do with the other?
Ditto my comment to El_Polanco. You guys are too obvious. You need to get some pointers from folks who know how to try to bring down a group in a subtle way that does not betray your progressive liberal bias. It is much more effective that way.
Spoke with some Tea Partiers...an individual told you about the family farm. Come on, Folks. Generalizations generated by A conversation by A person. Typical liberal tactics. Too obvious.

Yes, these OWS lemmings will go merrily skipping to the tune. They probably think that they will be getting this money for free school, healthcare, a "living wage", etc. should it start. What is being urged by economists who wrote to the G20 is for a global tax to be distributed globally. How much do we think would end up in the hands of the greedy OWS crowd?

Strings attached to $$ to states=States must waive their 14 Amendment rights.(Title III, subtitle D, section 376, subsection (b)) "...a State’s receipt or use of Federal financial assistance for any program for any program for any program or activity shall constitute a waiver of sovereign immunity.." PDF of bill - pages 159-199=Explanation of American Jobs Act of 2011. Within this bill there are sections which are actually labeled as separate bills:Building and Upgrading Infrastructure for Long-Term Development Act (sec 242); Supporting Unemployed Workers Act of 2011 (Title III, subtitle A, sec.301 ); Pathways Back to Work Act of 2011 (Title III, subtitle C); Fair Employment Opportunity Act of 2011 ( Title III, subtitle D, sec. 371) CRAZY!
