Its about power and the need to have it. Religion has in many instances in the past and specifically right now, the Muslim religion, produced zealots who have demanded that others abide by their beliefs. This same premise is being followed by these atheists who likewise feel no one should have a right to believe or act in any way that violates their 'belief''. In other words they believe there is no God and it is their duty to prevent anyone from accepting or any action that suggests that there is a God. Whether you want to celebrate the birth of Christ or Mid-winter is OK by me however you choose to do it. But my belief is I should be tolerant of whatever makes you happy!
Why do some atheists embarrass themselves year after year trying to eradicate Christmas from American culture? Why do they make themselves societal hemorrhoids during this hallowed season? Is it because they are crusaders for equality, secularism’s saviors and humanism’s heroes?
