"the party that wants more government and wants to pay for it with taxes (the Democrats) " never admits that; they $pend $$$ we don't have first, THEN start catwerwauling about "the deficit." NOBODY ever admits a new program will cost x & we'll pay for it by raising general taxe$ by Y amount. The closest they come is to declare that "other people" will pay for it all.
