Science Reporting No Different Than Activists' Own Hype

The "climate change" thesis, like so much else pushed by the statists, is expressed as a nonfalsifiable proposition. No matter what is observed, it can't contradict the Anthropogenic CO2-Induced Climate Change thesis. Suppose ACO2ICC was just a scam for convincing us to allow government to grow to totalitarianism, ration our energy, & decide who gets what? suppose it was a scheme to make the UN the totalitarian government of the world? What would be different from what we're seeing? I say, nothing.

On the other hand, if the "warmies" really did believe their premise that anthropogenicCO2-induced "climate change" is real & destructive, I'd reasonabluy expect the following:

Activists to protest the corrupt & inept government "investments" in wind & solar ventures run by friends of pols, that seem to accomplish nothing but to collapse after lining the cronies' pockets.

Development of safe nuclear power, instead of continued reflexive dogmatic opposition. With that, I'd expect serious efforts to resolve the byproducts issue instead of stubborn obstructionism & using it as an excuse.

Exempting CO2 emitted by burning biomass, as there would be no net addition to the CO2 inventory. Instead, they want it restricted & rationed, too.

"Manhattan projects" to develop such promising tech as nuclear fusion (once thought to be as close as about 2019 but delayed by politics & obstructive "activism"), fissionable fuel reprocessing, sub-critical nuclear heaters, satellite based solar for plentiful energy.

Stop mindless opposition to "fracking" that has made so much natural gas available.

Lose advocacy of rationing schemes i.e. "cap & trade" which have been completely discredited.

Lose the stupid premise that doing without energy is a viable answer, or that the ruling class should decide who gets how much.
Following Hurricane Sandy’s massive devastation across the northeast, many were quick to tie it to “climate change” (you know, what “global warming” and the “new ice age” used to be.). In a blog post on Tuesday, former Vice President Al Gore wrote “Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come. We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty weather.”

Meghan McCain sarcastically weighed in on Twitter, “So are we still going to go with climate change not being real fellow republicans?”

As his city struggles in the Sandy...
